When love simmers between a reclusive scientist and a wealthy debutante, will they abandon ship or is it full steam ahead?
Once again, Witemeyer doesn’t disappoint with her latest hilarious, well-researched, and unique Christian fiction release.
With the customary wit that landed her on my list of favorite authors when I first read Head in the Clouds, she more than pleased this reader with Full Steam Ahead. The hero is haunted by a tragedy in his past; the heroine is determined to secure her future. Both think they have things well in hand, the situation under control, until their blossoming love throws them both for a loop.
This book is funny, true to the times, romantic, and has just enough spiritual depth and lesson-learning thrown in that I love it for its subtlety. Nicole is the type of intelligent, spunky miss perfect for pulling scientist Darius out of his obsession; and he is just the type of determined man to rescue her from the threat against her life and her family’s legacy.
I was expecting a different ending. But I didn’t mind at all that Full Steam Ahead ends with a surprising resolution I didn’t see coming. If you like real-life romances with a touch of damsel-in-distress, you’re going to love this latest release from the talented Karen Witemeyer.

I love Karen Witemeyer! She’s an amazing authoress. :) She has the ability to pull off a completely fresh story line with each book. I’ve really been disappointed with the feeling that most Christian fiction nowadays is the same old story line with minor changes. Karen Witemeyer always manages to surprise me, and has awesome, original, lovable, realistic characters. :) I’m looking to get this book next, so I was happy to read your review! :)
